Show Notes

Breastfeeding may be a natural way to feed a baby, but that doesn't mean it always comes easy. In fact, the more you're in the know about breastmilk, how your body responds to baby and just really how beneficial it is, the better prepared you'll be and the more likely you can achieve your breastfeeding goals.

When I asked the @birth_baby_sleep followers on Instagram and Facebook what stressors they've encountered on their breastfeeding journey, a large majority of them were based on breastmilk supply and baby's latch on the breast.

I might know a thing or two about breastfeeding - I do teach a class on it and I breastfed all of my three children for a combined 4 years of my life. But, who better to engage in conversation about this with then a Certified Lactation Consultant?

Kylie Field, IBCLC of The Nurturing Touch has been an amazing resources for those in the Halifax area for many years. She and I met very early on in my career as a birth, baby and sleep specialist and I've heard nothing but positive things from those who've sought out her services.

If you are someone who is breastfeeding, or hope or plan to breastfeed, this episode is a must-listen.
